Why join a fishing club?

Some things cannot be learned from books or the internet. Which lures work best in spring? Where to anchor on the south side of Šolta? From which point is it easiest to catch a comber in summer? Is shore jigging really good at Marinča rat? You can only get this kind of knowledge through conversations on the Rogač waterfront or over morning coffee with Andre.

ŠRD Koralj has existed since 1973 and we have learned a great deal along the way. Besides our love of fishing, for more than 50 years we have carefully cared for our sea, organised seabed clean-ups, run education on sustainable fishing and worked to keep Šolta as it is.

Membership in Koralj is not just a card. It is your entry into a community.

Fishing permits

Get your annual permit on time

Every year we send a reminder to apply for annual fishing permits before the 1 March deadline. Requests are submitted through the member app and permits are issued without administrative fees.

Boat ramp

Launch or haul out your boat for free

Use of the boat ramp in Rogač harbour is free for Koralj members. Booking is simple through the member app. Koralj also offers a subsidised haul-out and boat transport service for users without a trailer.

The ŠRD Koralj web app gives members access to all services in one place. We also use it to send notifications, keep boat records and store fishing permits digitally.

Competitions

Compete in official events

As a ŠRD Koralj member you may compete in fishing events organised by the Croatian Sea Sport Fishing Federation, from club to regional level. We also organise the traditional annual Šolta Cup from a boat and other occasional competitions and activities.

Eco actions

Every year we organise clean-ups of the seabed and shoreline in Rogač bay, our home cove. As a member you take part in actions that support the ecosystem we depend on.

Knowledge and experience

Fishing is best learned through word of mouth. In Koralj you will meet people who have fished for decades and gladly share advice on lures, techniques and memorable catches.

Community

Take part in club competitions, workshops and other events. Koralj is one of the few places on Šolta where generations mix and talk about the same passion.

Everything you need to know

Who can become a member of Koralj?

Any natural or legal person may join, regardless of place of residence or nationality. Parental consent is required for minors.

How much does membership cost?

The annual membership fee is EUR 10 in 2026, with a planned increase noted for 2027. A one-time joining fee of EUR 100 is also required.

What do I get right after joining?

Once your joining fee and annual membership payment are received, you get access to the ŠRD Koralj app through which you can use club services.

How does the free boat ramp work?

Active members with a paid annual fee may use the boat ramp in Rogač harbour free of charge (launch or haul-out via trailer). Book through the member app.

Can I join if I live outside Croatia?

Yes, absolutely. Although the club is rooted in Rogač and Šolta, there is no geographical limit on membership.
